About 5–10 minutes end to end if you already have a broker account. The flow is: pick platform → pick broker (and sign up if needed) → enter your account number → connect via a one-time code → pick a strategy → acknowledge the risk gate → activate.
If you don't have a broker account yet, add 5–15 minutes for the broker's own signup + funding step.
You can complete onboarding without funding, but no trades will execute until your broker account has enough balance to meet the strategy's minimum. Each strategy lists its minimum on its detail page.
The dashboard shows a "Connect a broker account" or "Fund your account" banner when something's missing. Funded accounts trade automatically once activated.
TradeClick is free for traders — we earn lot commissions from your broker, not from you. There's no subscription fee, no charge to use the platform, and nothing to refund. Your funds stay with your broker.
That's how we get paid — without you paying anything. When you sign up through our referral link, the broker pays us a small commission per lot you trade. The broker's pricing for you stays identical; the cost comes out of their side, not yours.
This is also why TradeClick can be free. No subscription, no software fee — we make money only when you actually trade.
The brokers we list are integrated for IB lot tracking, so trades on those accounts make TradeClick free for you. If you connect a different MT5 broker, the platform will still work technically — but we won't earn anything, which is unsustainable long-term.
We add new brokers as partnership deals close. If a specific broker matters to you, email support@tradeclick.io.
TradeClickBridge.mq5 runs on your MT5 terminal and listens for signed instructions from our server. When a strategy fires a signal, the bridge places the order on your broker — exactly as if you'd clicked it manually.
The bridge only does what you've given permission for: trade the pairs you've enabled, with the position size from your risk settings. It never accesses funds, withdraws, changes account settings, or shares your password.
Only one strategy runs at a time. You can save multiple strategies to your library and switch between them whenever you want — but only the active one places trades.
Switching is instant: the current strategy stops opening new positions and the one you switch to takes over. Existing open positions stay open and close based on their original strategy's exit rules.
The 3 presets — Conservative (1%), Moderate (3%), Aggressive (10%) — cover the range that matches what professional traders actually use. Most institutional desks risk under 1% per trade.
You can override these via Bot detail → "Set custom risk %" and go up to 50%. The UI flags above-10% as elevated risk and requires you to type a confirmation. Above 20% it shows live drawdown math: e.g., 5 losses at 25%/trade ≈ 76% account drawdown. Use accordingly.
From the dashboard, tap the gear icon on your active strategy card → Pause or Stop.
Pause keeps the strategy connected and stops opening new positions. Existing positions stay open and will close based on the strategy's normal exit rules. Stop fully deactivates the strategy. Neither action force-closes open positions — those belong to you at your broker. To close them manually, use your broker terminal.
Settings → Account & security → Password → enter current + new + confirm. You'll be signed out and asked to sign in again with the new password.
Forgot your current password? Use "Forgot password?" on the login page. We'll send a reset link to your email, valid for 6 hours, single-use.
Yes. Settings → Danger zone → Delete account. You'll type a confirmation phrase and re-enter your password. We anonymize your profile (name, email, phone, country) immediately.
Per regulatory and tax requirements, we retain compliance acknowledgments and trade history for 5 years — those records are anonymized but kept for audit. Your funds were never with us; they stay with your broker.
TOTP-based 2FA (Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password) is on the roadmap and coming soon. The setting is visible in Settings → Account & security but currently disabled.
Until then, your account is protected by a bcrypt-hashed password and a 30-day HttpOnly session cookie. If you suspect a compromise, change your password immediately.
